I never understood why Sony stopped offering integrated DVD players in their LCD televisions. It seems so obvious that you don’t want a box laying around when the LCD is mounted to the wall. Now we are back to simplicity — one power cord, one box. We bought this for our daughter and she loves it. We will buy another one for her little sister this summer.
Now if they can figure out how to make televisions “cable ready” again, as they were for the prior 25 years, that will be awesome.
I bought my first Sony in 1991 as the first piece of furniture in my apartment. It still has a great picture, as do the other 7 I have purchased since. You never regret buying Sony televisions, vcrs, laserdisc / dvd / blu ray players. They are the one and only.
